Appointments
We make it very easy to make an appointment with us. You can either call us, or e-mail us and we will call you. Once you make an appointment, we do request that you take your appointment time seriously, since our doctors and/or hygienists are reserving time specifically for you. We ask that if there is any reason that you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, please give us at least 48 hours' notice.
Insurance and Billing
We participate in or accept most insurance and union dental plans. To find out for sure if we accept your plan, please call our office – we probably do accept it. Below is a partial list of some of the insurance and union plans we accept.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also offer 12-month interest-free financing on all dental work. We also offer longer payment plans, as long as 48 months are also available. Please speak to our Financial Coordinator Rocio Mazariego or our Treatment Coordinator Cathy Marino for details.

Our office is a new modern office with a television in every operatory, and a professional, caring, well-trained staff. We know that people do not love going to the dentist and we strive to make the experience as easy and as comfortable as possible.
Modern Office and the Latest Technology
At Astoria Modern Family Dental, we use the latest techniques in a comfortable setting. Our office uses digital x-rays, which use less radiation than conventional x-rays. Digital x-rays also allow our doctors to enhance your x-rays making it easier to diagnose dental problems. We also use the latest in sterilization techniques as recommended by the American Dental Association. Other new technologies used in our office are the ZOOM one-visit tooth whitening system, dental implants and all facets of cosmetic dentistry.

Astoria Modern Family Dental offers dentistry for the whole family. We treat children and adults, and our doctors are proficient in the latest techniques in cosmetic dentistry and implantology.
Convenient Location
Astoria Modern Family Dental’s modern ground level office is located at 31-56 Steinway Street between Broadway and 31st Avenue, in the heart of the Steinway shopping district. There is a municipal parking lot on our block, only 8 stores away. In addition, we are conveniently located just half a block from the R train - Steinway Street stop, as well as half a block from the Steinway/Broadway bus stops.
